Lookup Guidelines

Read This First

Please keep your requests to one name and only one per lookup volunteer.  Once you receive your lookup, you can then request another lookup from the volunteer.

Requests should be specific--do not ask for general research.  If the lookup volunteer asks for a full name, then provide a full name, not just the surname.  Also, please don't ask for all references to a common surname or a time consuming research, otherwise, our volunteers will withdraw from helping. 

Don't forget to read the data descriptions before making a  request, to be sure you are aware of the information available for that particular source.

Any requests that are out of the above boundaries or not  in the scope offered, will not be considered nor will an email be answered or explanation given.
